Thursday 11/2 Evening & Friday 11/3 Morning

Fished outside my cove Thursday night for an hour. Nothing but gar.

Prefished for the OSBTT today. Got to our spot about 45 minutes late. We caught 3 fish capable of bringing to the scales but nowhere near what we were after. Caught plenty of fish but nothing consistent. Fished 3 more spots from Wednesday so we have options, none of them make me too confident however. Biggest fish were 6# each. Had a couple fish we believed to be a little bigger come unbuttoned. Hoping for the best tomorrow.

At least your out there fishing having a good time…There are too many reports of people with a 20 pound average with a 2 fish weigh-in. You will need 20 lb to get some money sounds like. I still stand by it will take 25 to 30 to win… But I’ve been wrong plenty of times before LOL… It depends on the number of boats and who actually made the trip I have yet to see a list of whose fishing…

I get to try my hand at a little bit of fishing on Sunday finally, but I’m headed to Santee never fish for stripers down there before but a buddy wants to try something new

Chip, fishing was tough today. A lot of small fish. Definitely some top Striper anglers there. 11.4# was big fish and biggest 2 fish creel as 19#. Second was 16 the. 2 14’s. We took 2 live fish to the scales. 1 of those fish somehow died between the boat and the 20 yard walk to the scales and waiting in line 1 spot. Was unfortunate but didn’t cost us any spots. We finished mid pack with 2 fish 5.3 and 5.5#’s. Gar had taken over where we found good fish the day before. Best fish came from Ramp 4 area.

Mike, I did end up finally getting my limit where you saw me of 22-26 inch fish. The shorts dominated though.

Fogman, that was us. Our biggest fish were right around 25” and we had 3 or 4 of them.
