Took the boat out at 6 am for the low tide bite, had crabs and frozen shrimp for bait. Hit one dock and could not hook up on the crab so put on shrimp. Then it was on. Black drum were biting like bream in a pond.
Ended up with 7 total and couple croakers, only kept one for lunch that was well into the slot limit, all the rest were barely 14" so let them all go
Bite quit when tide flow slowed to a trickle so loaded and back to the house to cook breakfast for the rest of our crowd at IOP this week.
