Great day on the water yesterday. Beautiful weather other than the wind changing directions all day. Started the day on the Stono and got into a big school of trout that were fun but unfortunately none had much size to them. Still fun to catch them though every cast as the bait hit the water. Also mixed in some small flounder as well. After the tide started to get close to low we switched over to fishing for bull reds. Had a great time and put some on the boat in the stono and in the harbor. Overall a awesome day on the water and cant wait to get on the sheeps next week. Fished all day using either mudminnows or fresh cut mullet we found deep in James Island Creek. All used on the bottom except for one Flounder under the cork. Technically got the slam but only one species had size worth bragging about.
Didnt measure first fish…but second one was 42’’ 24 LB
Nice catch

Hey, a slam is a slam. Maybe if they are all over-sized you call it a Grand Slam? That 2nd red is a hog.
