Thursday Night Harbor, a little better

We were the only ones on the JIYC side of the harbor tonight. Shrimp were heavy just before sunset. The wind layed down well, not near as cold as I thought it would be, was a comfortable night on the water. We had 1/4 cooler after 1st 2 runs, and over 1/2 cooler by 8 PM, but were very mixed w/ a lot of smalls and mediums. Headed over to CB just to see if shrimp were bigger, just set up 4 poles there and were getting 2-3 large shrimp per pole, left at about 9:45. There were only 4 boats at CB that I saw, not sure how they did. Got to work tomorrow so time for bed. It was at least fun to catch 3-4 dozen shrimp a cast again, just wish they had been bigger.

well that might not be great news, but it certainly is good news…thanks for reporting…
