Went out with phishinphan to Murray. Got on the lake around 7 with light wind. Fished around spence and the wind kicked up out of the south after about 1/2 hour. We were in his john boat so we tried to get out of the wind on the south side of Spence. Ended up creaping down the south shore and fished around the towers. Wind made it tough. We onlyu caught two dinks and one around 25". Not a good night for a jon boat. Still had a good time. I am going tyo try out the morning bite. Wind has been killing my night fishing.

funniest part of the whole trip was when steely asked me if i had a good bilge pump on board! lmao 
can’t hardly blame the guy, the 15 mph winds blowing right at the towers were no fun, then add in the fact that i forgot my spotlight, had no bilge pump and was fighting 3 foot waves with no other boats around… ahhhh… gotta love a jon boat.
