Tide App for Android Smart Phone

Anyone know of an app where you tap a location on a chart and have it calculate tides for that location? Most of what I’ve seen limit you to NOAA tide locations, then you have to make an educated guess about the location you want.

I have the navionics app on mine and it has the tides on it. You just have to look for the T on the map and most are in creek mouths and near inlets. It lets you go to any date you want. I have also used it as a backup to my GPS. Costs$10 though, but its worth it IMHO.

I found one by Fly To Map and it seems to be working very well… Free App and I like it so far…

Hard to beat the free Sea tow app

Marine Weather Pro is great. think it’s $2.99

Sea Tow x2. A friend of mine was down with me a few weeks ago and had that app, had a lot of great features, including tides.

Thanks for all the input, I’ll check them out…

The Sea Tow app allows you to select your desired station from a map when you click on the small map icon while viewing tides.

I will admit that the iphone version of our app works a lot better than the droid (there are so many different platforms for the android operating system), but we are making a significant investment to improve the droid version and add some new features… so stay tuned and register for our quarterly newsletter.

Agree with Mudball. The Bluefin Marine Weather works well.
