Does the tide matter when fishing nearshore reefs?
Obviously, in the creeks and rivers it changes everything, but what difference, if any, does it make to the bite at the reefs?
IMO, yes the tide matters. It positions certain species. Moon phase matters. Barometer matters.
Some species it matters more than others.
Lots of variables that determine if they bite and if it’s a nibble or a gut hook.
Never realized it mattered so much until I started keeping a simple log.

Care to elaborate on the findings of this simple log?
