Tide Down - 5/14 - First Marlin - Pics added

Fished straight out Saturday and started trolling at 7:30 in about 200’. By 8:00 we had 3 nice Dolphin in the box and it looked like it was going to be a stellar day. We continued to push east looking for warmer water and more fish. Never leave fish to find fish but we had higher hopes. Around 10 we boated a 38lb Dolphin and continued out to 1300’. The action really got slow and we decided to head back shallower. We came across a buoy in 1000’ and missed a Dolphin on the first pass by but the second pass produced a day maker, marlin. A first for the boat and angler. Ended the day with 9 dolphin from 15-38lb. Not bad for only the second trip.

We still have plenty of openings check our website.

X3 here

It could be a white but had pointed dorsil fin and no spots on the dorsil fin. However the pictoral fins look more like a white.

Pretty work on the whitey!

first marlin…aint too shabby. All the flags are the same size blue or white. I’d take that white any day.

Its a Marlin…Great Job!!

Pretty work, there. It’s a white judging by what can be seen. The dorsal & peck both “look” rounded. Can’t see the lateral line.
