Off the dock at 4:30 with a full crew. Headed south for the morning Wahoo bite.
Lines in at 7:10.
7:25 BAM!! Fish on…
64" Wahoo in through the Tuna Door…
Headed out deeper for some Dolphin action. Weeds galore!! little ones, big ones, long ones… All day long
Seas turned on us around 11, headed in at 3:30 with 4-5’ in a quartering head wind (So glad to be on a sporty…nice and dry.) Back at the dock by 5:30.
Ended the day with 2 Hoo’s and 9 Dolphins (2 slingers).
We lost 1 dolphin at the boat, 2 cut offs, and had 10-12 short strikes. they just had a hard time committing to the baits. temps were 70-71 all day.
Stocked up for a few weeks…finally!
Geat day to be out on the water with friends.
Thanks to Charlie and Robert, you are a stellar pair of fisherman!
Tight lines!
