Tides at Copahee Sound Boat Landing

I normally use the tide charts on charlestonfishing, but cant find anything close to copahee. Since there arent any fish in the upper wando, I wanted to start fishing across the road in copahee but need to figure out tides, looks like access is limited at the county boat landing.

All fishermen are liars except for you and me, and to tell you the truth brother, I’m not sure about you!

There aren’t any fish over there either

I have an app called “Tide Chart Free”. It has tide for Capers Island north of Dewees. That’s the closest to Copahee that I’ve seen.

I know the ramp there is rough. Fine for kayaks and small boats. Also, if you launch anywhere near low tide you’ll have to drag your boat 100+ yards.

Don’t know if Poleyard is playing around or not. I’ve fished there in my yak many times with very little success. I have seen fish there tho.

Lots of folks swear by it - that they catch plenty of fish there.

I hooked a few small trout Sunday. Ended up doing the walk of shame the last 100 yds to the ramp. Creek was dry. Found a casting net, sunglasses from 2014 wando prom and lots of pluff mud. Better than spending the afternoon with the wife at Tanger. Good place to pick up crabs.

poleyard is right. no fish there. the ramp stinks. the locals will strip your vehicle.

there is decent crack, sensa milla, and nehi orange soda at pinkey’s

You will be better off driving the extra five minutes to Buckhall. The local Copaheians will rob you blind if you leave you truck and trailer there. Fish are between Buckhall and IOP marina all down the ICW

If talking about grass fishing, the kayakers and walkers have made it so there truly aren’t many tailers nearby that landing anymore. Its only usable for small boats around high water and has to be timed accordingly. Best to use other landings.
