Just wondering if it’s tides or at night? Where planning going this Saturday 2am low tide incoming hightide will it be worth it novice shrimper. Thank u.
You can catch shrimp any tide if they are there,always seems easier to me on an incoming tide as I shrimp in shallow water and can put poles out, shrimp, and have water to pull poles back out.
You can't catch fish on a dry line
In the bays, day or night as long as tide is moving AND water is muddy. Clear water=no shrimp in daytime. River banks are nighttime affairs and when there is a big tide swing, near full moon, it can be hard to hit your bait, let alone know where it went when you dropped it. Otherwise, tide phase doesn’t seem to matter too much in the river, they’re gonna start coming up on the banks at dusk/dark.
