I will start off by saying I’m sure most people will say go with Taco, but There is a significant cost difference that could make or break me. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these Considering putting a pair on my T-Top. Also any suggestions on who I could get to weld the brackets to my top, and or a round about $ to get them welded.
Personally I would not go through with the expense of putting full blown outriggers on a sub 20’ boat. I would rather have holders that come off the side of the t-top that angle out. With that set up you can easily run 6 lines. They also come in handy when fishing nearshore and inshore.

If you’re using collapsible poles and the budget allows for it, definitely go with the adjustables unless you’re planning to mount them at a 45 degree angle. Otherwise, you have to take them out of the holders to extend and collapse them and you have to drop them down every time you go under a low bridge.
Have you looked at these?

I hadn’t looked at the ones you linked to, but they are still more than the tigress ones which are very similar. I was thinking the adjustable mounts, so that they can be folded flat against the top and poles can be telescoped in for the majority of the ride, so not to stress the top anymore than needed. I just don’t want to “save money” only to spend more money because I spent money on junk the first time.

How much did you find the tigress ones for?
Did you see the ones that were on clearance for $640 at the bottom?
I put a set of those on my boat and I love them. It’s nice being able to raise them up while standing on the deck. Only downside to them is that the rubber caps that hold the cranks in rip off really easily.

Geez… You’re right. I guess I need to learn to read a little better.
Those tigress ones should be fine.
If you can find a set of taco 250’s for the same price though, I’d go with the taco’s.

I had a set of transom mount outriggers mounted on the t-top
I can lay them back, and they are flush with the top, and when deployed, they are on a 45 degree angle up.
