Does anybody know where to look as to why my gauge bars never move on my yamaha digital gauge? Looked around the tilt/trim unit and dont really see anything. The tilt/trim unit works fine, just the digital bars on the gauge dont move. Probably right in front of me, just dont see it!!
under the motor
on the steering tilt tube is a little bracket
the bracket works with a little plastic arm under the motor (trim sender)
the arms get stiff and break the plastic ring on the steering/tilt tube.

They never work. Don’t waste your time messing with it. I have never owned a Yamaha that had a digital trim gauge that worked for any length of time. Just look back at the engines.
