Tilt/Trim Gauge Adjustment??????

I installed a new Tilt/Trim Gauge on my boat recently (same brand as old one). It is working but, it does not accurately reflect the position of the motor, the old gauge did. Is there an “adjustment” that can be made so the gauge will accurately indicate the position of the motor? This is on a 2003 Yamaha 70 TLRB.

THERE SHOULD BE A LITTLE PLASTIC COLLAR UNDER THE front of the motor on the steering tube. adjust there.

It worked, now the gauge shows the respective position of the motor. I know it really doesn’t matter but it does to me. Thanks again.
