Tip of the week #3 leader storage

I will be busy later this week as its my birthday and have some plans so I am putting the tip out here early. I posted this a few years back but here it is again. This allows you to keep all of your leaders in the dry, selectable at a moments notice, and diferentiate each cd wallet for wire, flouro, or mono rigs. It sure beats having every lure pre rigged and all you must do is to tie small Spro power swivel 80 # or 100# to your main line, then slide the lure down your leader and either make the crimp from the leader to the swivel, or you haywire twist for wire. This will enable you to change out baits or colors at a drop of a hat.

I like it keep them tips a coming gofshn

Happy Birthday. I do something similar. I have the calcutta bags that I bought from Haddrell’s a few years ago that are almost like large ziplocs with holes punched in them. It’s basically a big zipping folder - similar concept. Only way to go…

And don’t forget to choose one with a non-corrosive zipper!!!

Happy Birthday. Great idea. Thanks.

If you apply a little chapstick to the zippers occasionally you will never have a problem, you should be doing this to your snaps and zippers on your curtains on your boat also.

Wanna kill fish, then let’s go! Always ready, always willing to teach the ways.

Wish I would have known that about two years ago…

Do not tell fish stories where the people know you; but particularly, don’t tell them where they know the fish.
