After several successful weekends of catching and eating these:
You may want to consider this:
It’s easy! Start with these:
And these:
Found this Young’s Double Chocolate Stout this weekend - yum!
Layer black pepper, Kosher salt, garlic powder and Old Bay to your liking; place heads-on shrimp on top of seasonings and cover with one stick of butter, melted to get this:
Cook for 30 minutes at 350 degrees!
I even made dessert (as I’ve been doing this Amish Friendship Bread stuff for the past 10 days and even got Penny to try it too!)
OK, Russ - I just spewed my Chardonnay all over my computer monitor with that one!
Mahi is bronze over marble - one of several CCA Banquet/Auction purchases I’ve made over the years. I tend to get dangerous at auctions. My favorite piece is “Jimmy Crabs.” I’ll send a pic tomorrow as it really is a work of art! Granted, I don’t know art from a hole in the ground, but that’s what they told me! They didn’t teach us “farm girls” that art stuff in school!
Hey, I’m doing this bread deal for the next 10 days (again). I’ll save you a mini loaf! You want a starter too? 10 day process, and you do TWO THINGS! I can cook, but I don’t claim to bake - even I can do this! Hey, if you take a starter, and I keep doing this and Penny keeps doing hers - we can all make Friendship Bread and call it whatever we want!
I figure a loaf of bread, pretty tea towel, couple of mugs and a box of tea or bag of ground coffee beans will make a truly thoughtful Holiday Expression! Can’t quite get Jack to stop eating the ones I’m trying to freeze 'til the holidays!
Would love one, never done bread myself, but willing! My mom used to make bread on our sailboat growin up on a two burner kerosene stove in a pressure cooker pot that got me hooked on good bread for life, no idea how she did it, but it was allways a treat!
My buddy makes these mahis

Will do! The last few ones he made turned out awesome, he uses steel and then “colors” it with a torch then sprays lacquer on it. The one I have is made from stainless. He just makes them on the side, he’s a metal fabricator/welder up in Chapin.

I wish I had the starter recipe for it, Stressrelief, just so I’d not have to keep on making it just to have the starter. If you want the second starter (Russ gets the first), just let me know. I can drop it off at Haddrell’s WA, or you can come pick it up at the house. Don’t know where you’re located?
