Tires

Looking for tires for my son’s S10. Don’t want cheap tires but not looking at Michelins or anything like that. A couple of places here are pushing Hankook and Falken. Decent reviews but really not familiar with either. Also look at a Goodyear Assurance.

DF, I put Handkook’s on the back of my full size Ram and have not seen any problems. They were a lot cheaper than the Michelins. They are quieter also!

Tirerack.com is your friend, set of four Kumhos delivered to you for $300. Assuming it’s a 205\75\15. My local shop charges I think $20 per tire to mount and balance. Usually the local guys can’t touch the online pricing.

If I get murdered in the city, don’t go revenging in my name…

Some of the best advice I ever got was to never skimp on tires. And I can assure you, when my daughter starts driving, I will heed that advice and give her every opportunity I can afford to keep her safe on the road.
