TM Riptide Prop Stuck

Just trying to do regular maintenance to the TM, I removed the anode nut, removed the washer and tried to pull the prop straight off according to the manual. Wouldn’t budge. I sprayed the shaft with some liquid wrench to loosen the crud near the prop. Hit the shaft with a rubber dead-blow hammer a few times and it still wouldn’t pull off.

The shear pin is not busted (to my knowledge) since the motor still pulls the boat around nicely.

What’s the trick? A gear puller?

I had to cut mine off, the shear pin created a grove in the prop that it was stuck in after I hit something.

Well for those that read but didn’t know the best trick - a gear puller did it with ease. Cleaned up the shaft, coated with T9, and put it back together to swim another day.
