You’ve got to go out in 15-20kt winds. Weather that would make normal paddling miserable is nothing to the mirage drive.
Just mentioning it because I had a blast this afternoon wetting a line on Folly River. Waves, wind whipping, no bites, but still easy kayaking. Its nice when you can still have a good time even without bites and still go up and down the river (though the spray was … refreshing)

I have to agree, i have fished several days here recently where if i had of use a regular kayak my back would be killing me. Its not cheating, just smart fishing.

Oh be quiet. The Hobie kayak is the most used fishing kayak on the market worldwide. That many people can't be wrong. Now if I were to just kayak to tout then peddling would be cheating. I think you are jelous. I know I am. I have been into kayak fishing for a while and i said the next yak I will buy will be a Revolution or adventure.

I agree its cheating, but thank god I am able too I did paddle a little bit yesterday and it was like slicing through molassas to get the blade through the air. Ick
