Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Clemson’s case is as good as any right now. This year there is a large group at the top – years like this are why there should be an 8 team playoff. Clemson is right there with OSU, MSU, LSU, Baylor, TCU, with Bama, Florida, and Stanford right behind. Would love to see the five conference champs and three at large teams duel it out.
But to the topic posed, Clemson has made their case for the playoff. Just need to take care of business the rest of the way obviously, but hard to argue they don’t have the easiest path of the remaining unbeatens. Baylor/TCU and MSU/OSU play each other. LSU faces Bama (plus possibly Florida again and other SEC west opponents).

On another note you all need to ease up on fish. I peronally think we are a very complete contender this year but understand there is a lot more ball to be played before we can be sure we are a top 4 team. Yeah he has some bias but don’t we all?

I will give you a reason why CU is not in my top 4. They have play ND (ranked team). But ND has played 2 ranked teams and lost to 1 of them (Clemson). And the 1 they beat is GT. who is no longer in the top half of rankings. I personally believe that OSU and ND are 2 of the most over rated teams in the nation (not the only 2). Never team has beaten anyone good.
Preseason rankings is not “real” information. They are garbage. The best we can do is project with info we have and expectations for the rest of the season. Clemson will be favored in the rest of their games with FSU being the only reasonable threat as I think we will win the ACCCG if we get there. This puts us at undefeated against 3 ranked teams (ND, FSU, Coastal opponent) one of which might also be in the playoff. There is no way we get left out considering that. Clemson has the best win of the undefeated and is clearly top 4.
