has anyone picked up any reely good ripe local tomatoes yet? and if so where??
Fields farms on John’s Island has had some great ripe ones from Fla.
He said Saturday that his are about a week away, so maybe this weekend.
He has a stand at the corner of Maybank and River Road, and he used to have one almost to Folly, near Crosby’s.
I have been impressed with the ones that he has had for the last couple of weeks, but there is NOTHING that tastes like a tomato or a cantelope grown in that black John’s Island dirt!!

Picked up some at a little stand on 17 in PI. Believe they came out of Loris. But that is way up here on the Waccammaw Neck.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I’d like to thank my dad for coming, and my mom for being there.
Something so aerodynamically perfect was not meant to be eaten! (never could develop a taste for em!)

I live a mile or so from them, I have known them all of my life. You won’t find better folks.
