Will be giving it a try tomorrow AM going to fight the wind. First time on the water in a while. Last time we were on the lake we were fishing elbow and up. Looking at fishing below the big gap tomorrow. I’m taking the kids out for a weekday trip since they are on spring break. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks
Crystal lake or in that area should still be good. Maybe Bear? Big fish are scattered as always.

Some of the smaller creeks on the Lexington side between Shull and Spence should be sheltered some with that SW wind tomorrow and can be good fishing this time of year.

Thanks for the reply’s gentleman. I was thinking defiantly going to fish the Lexington side due to the wind direction. How is the cut bait bite off points? With this warm weather it should be coming on strong I would think.
We have caught some fish on cut bait in all of the areas mentioned in the last several weeks. I have not been this week but I suspect the cut bait bite will be really good if you anchor up on a point in 12 or 15 foot of water pretty close to a creek run a shallow hump may also be good but I have only fished points this year.
