Do you have any two man yaks in your fleet? The family and I will be at Folly for the first week of July and my sons and I are interested in a trip. One is 17 the other will soon be 11 and none of us has ever been on a yak , hence the two man for my youngest and I.
I dont have any tandems because they dont make good fishing platforms. I’d rather put your 11 y/o in his own boat and fish an area with milder current. Safety is my 1st priority, fun is number 2, and catching fish is number 3; we usually meet all 3 goals with a perfect safety record to date.
There are some impressive tides that week, so there may be a good shot at tailers in the grass a couple of days. Give me a call and I’m sure we can work out a trip where you’re all 3 comfortable.
