$20 car cover from walmart will off keep most of that ice.

unfortunately, it doesn’t warm up the water.

Hope all you fellas are alright after this ice storm. I know my parents have been without lights for a couple of days now. Dad went by my house yesterday, and the only noticeable damage was a dust till dawn light was knocked down. I’m nice and warm in Okinawa, but I have to go to Korea for a couple of weeks. So, I’ll get some of the "cold’ pain over there. Stay safe and be careful.

Do you not worry about freezing your LCD displays in your fishfinder units?

I left mine out in a freeze and the display was jacked after that. I chalked it up to frozen liquid crystals but maybe I was wrong.

Have you done this before and did they work after?

It didn’t hurt anything the last time.

I haven’t tried it yet after the last storm.
