Been wanting to hit Toogoodoo all year. Finally got my trim /tilt motor fixed so we gave it a go. Mixed bag of fish. Trout, flounder, gar, shark, crab, croaker, sting ray. Nothing table worthy. Beautiful day, got back right before the storm!

Great day. If you don’t mind me asking where do you put in to access that river? We are out towards Upper Wando but I love exploring.

Toogoodoo landing at the end of Parrishville road
We put in at Limehouse. It was about a 30-40 minute boat ride running at 30 mph. Just stay between the markers, there are a lot of sandbars and oyster beds in the ICW heading that way. I’d also recommend going at low tide to get to know the area. Lot of oyster beds in Toogoodoo.

Used one as bait, kept two. Crab yielded the bonnethead on a medium rod. Heck of a fight! I was hoping for some black drum.
