Wife and I fished the Toogoodoo river area on Saturday morning, on the incoming tide. She did pretty good, me not so much! Floating live shrimp under a cork netted her a 5 to 1 ratio of 15 in and under redfish. But I did get to boast that I caught dinner… a 17 in trout! Reds were caught along the grass near the opening of a small feeder creek into the marsh. The trout was caught along the grass at the opening of a larger creek over a small oyster bed.
Good trout…and good report!
