Just wondering what happens if you throw topwaters on a flooded flat? Does it work? Will a tailing fish look up? Always wondered but am new to flats fishing and have not been able to bring myself to “risk” any of the few precious opportunities I have had in good position with a failing fish. ???
It works sometimes or it might spook em.I would give it a try .Pretty cool when a 30in spotail slams a top dog.

position the plug 12-15yrds in front of em where your hoping they will go. let it sit untill they are within 5yrds, couple of soft pops. yellow
