top water

Yesterday was an exciting day on the water! Of my 60 plus years of fishing I have never had 2 people inbed hooks in there hands on the same trip while landing fish on spooks! The string methoed didn’t work, neither the pliers, so off to the ER, and lots of laughfs, ended up getting home around 10 PM with fish to clean with one hand. Boy, rusty hooks sure make the hand sore! Hard to drive my truck 11/2 hrs with a hook in your hand. My buddy got POed when I cut the hooks off his new spook to free the flipping fish, plug and net from his hand. Things to remember to put in the boat (HD wire cutter), I keep one in my offshore boat! By the way, this was the first trip in his new Pro Craft bay boat, hope its not an omem!!

Hope they cut you a deal at the ER for removing 2!! LOL

That’s got to be some sort of record. The closest I’ve ever come is 2 in the same summer.

I wanna NEVER come close to any …

Knock on wood, I’ve witnessed it, not on my boat, and that’s enough for me …

SS - I do recall a rather gruesome tale you told us one day while fishing with you … something about a Zara Spook and the crack of an ass …

… it’s my Wife’s fault we HAVE to fish !!!

I’m positive I would never forget the moment a Zara Spook got caught in the crack during a cast … LOLOL

Tim is a beast when it comes to hooks embedded in the body…lol…i remember him letting a trout putting an x-rap in his hand while we were kayak fishing…we tried everything to get it out. The man finished and fished the rest of the float trip with it stuck there…ha… good times

That was a fun trip. Can’t believe I haven’t fished out of the kayak once this year.

Looking at that pic, I think my computer just crashed…

Not sure what string method you used.
My buddy successfully pulled a treble out of me last year, pulled up Youtube video on our phone.
