Got a slow start this morning due to the lo =.04 tide and our new wonderful mud shoal out in the folly river. left ramp about 5am planning on having to wait for the tide to come in a bit more. Finally got anxious and started poking the nose of boat up into the mud shoal trying to see if we could find a channel thru it to no avail, finally made it over it at about 7am and headed out to the stono. Got met by some ugly waves and conditions and even bumped bottom again slightly in the trough of a wave crossing the outer bar. Got into clear water and made tracks for just South of the EB, taking the sloppy waves on the port quarter. Ran out to 400 ft and started trolling on a temp break and started picking up a few decent ones. Spent the whole day in a area about 4 square miles and picked up a even dozen mahi, in the 20 to 30 lb range . Lot a few at the boat as well( Seas, which were real ugly in the morning calmed down a little bit thru out the day and ended up surfing them home at about 35 mph. Ran in the Stono just after sunset and up to the folly ramp and got boat all cleaned, fish cleaned, bagged and I am now one whooped puppy! Will upload some pics tomorow, whenever I manage to crawl out of bed.
It’s days like this spent out on the water that truley are Gods gift to us.
Awsome color on those dolphinmahimahidoradocory fush. I hope you used something besides that rusty knife in the background for cleaning them, that thing is rustier than my bait knives.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

LOL, yeah, thats a old knife stuck in the table there in pic. All the fish yesterday seeemed to have a real florecsent blue to them when we pulled em out of water, seems like later in the year thier more yellow and blue
Yeah, I allways leave skin on and freeze em in ziplocks with water in them then hold bag underwater in a bucket while sealing bag up. Only ones I usually skin are the smaller tail pieces for frying.
