Sounds like Russ… never really complained.

Calm seas and sunny skies, Russ…

Turkey… the other white meat.

I am so sorry to hear that. I needed a PFD for my son for kayaking. Russ didn’t know me from Adam’s house cat but offered to give me one. My son and I drove out to his place and met him for the first time. We must have been there more than an hour just talking about boats and such. man he knew a lot about boats. Felt liek I made a friend that day. My thoughts and prayers are with Russ and his family.

I too am very saddened to hear this. I posted yesterday on FB Man that’s tough.

Umm, you gonna eat that?

Thousands have died to save my freedom. Only one has died to save my soul!

This absolutely breaks my heart. Russ was a good one. He had some incredible stories about sailing around the world when he was younger that I’ll never forget. Russ and I weren’t all that close, but hung out and enjoyed each others company occasionally. The first time I met him was at the original CF shootout back in the good ole days. I never saw him where he didn’t have a smile on his face. The best thing a man can hope to be in this world is a good family man, and everytime I talked to him, he was talking about his and how much he loved and missed them.

Welcome home Russ, we’ll see you soon buddy. God bless.
