Just put the yak in parallel with the dock and slide in. Keep center of gravity. Make sure you don’t let go of the dock before seated. Also, stage everything within arms reach. You’ll know when you do it wrong when you get wet.

Put the boat parallel with dock. Sit on dock with feet in kayak. Put hands on edge on dock palms down. Push your body up with you hands and slide your butt off the dock and into the seat of the kayak. Use your legs to help keep the boat in place and to help keep everything else stable. Keep your center of gravity low and keep your hands on the dock until you are secure. Really not to difficult, just don’t let the boat start moving out from under you.
