Using a scientific approach, I figure Jason is about my size and my middle finger is 3.75 inches from big knuckle to the tip. On my screen, his middle right hand finger measures 1.75" and a generous measurement of the fish (on my screen) was 9". So the total lenth of the fish would be 3.75"/1.75" X 9" = 19.29" which would be hard for Rolan Martin to make into a 7 pound fish. Doubt you could put 5 lbs of leads in his belly to make it 10 lbs. And was that Dabo taking Steve to the Wood Pile? 2012 will make it 4 years in a Row!!! Go Cocks.
and i thought the ohio forum i was on hogged all the fun threads…this one made my day and i had to pass the link to a friend back home to make him laugh as well! just for the record and to solve the mystery i HAVE seen “roadkill carp” on 1 occasion, but did not care to sample it to see what roadkill carp would taste like. it was back home and i found a pile of em a couple days after someone dumped em off the side of the road for whatever reason. needless to say with the right wind i could almost smell them from my house less than a mile away too.
I caught one in the GCR last summer that was 20 1/2 inches and only weighed 5lbs 5oz. The belly wasn’t as big as that on but it was just as thick. Just sayin is all.
