That’s funny, I don’t remember fishing all that white space. Good trip, thank’s for taking me.

I’m so salt life I sued google earth for giving away all of my fishing spot’s.

nice…kinda like some of my spots…except mine one of my bull reds was in a spot with a 12 point buck around and a shark in several inches of snow with a doe sticking its tongue out at the camera

By the water color and the tree lines in the background. Looks like you are Fishing the Ashley up by the Gardens. Nice looking Fish. Look’s liked you had a good Day!! Can You keep the striper this time of year?

I catch them from my dock in the winter… mostly 12-14"ers. DNR stocked the crap out of this super secret river a few years back, they seem to be surviving well. Plenty of bait in the river all year round… I see an excellent striper fishery developing in the next 5-10 years.

RiverMonster said he never really caught them until about two week’s back. He was fishing for reds but a striper took his bait(around 20 inches) and it fought like a beast for its size. The next day we were going for red’s again but we hooked into more striper. Can’t eat em’ but they do put up a good fight.

Nevermind, just realized that the upper Ashley is still considered “saltwater” regulations. Totally different regs for stripes.

INDIGO BAY 170- 90 JOHNSON

You might want to recheck the regulations, they look to be the same.

Do the saltwater regs say that you can be ticketed for even “attempting to take” stipers?

Hey Rivermonster, That is my spot, been fishing it for over 35 Years. Guess I need to fish it this weekend and post good pictures for all to see where the Fish are. See you out there, LOL

Wow, Rivermonster, You have got to be kidding me, You post Pictures of your spot and fish, and bragging about them!!! And someone knows the spot you are bragging about’ Yea maybe’ I should not have gave your, our hole out. People that have been fishing it for over 30 years. And I mean’ many years!! You than pull everything of line to hide your spot. To Funny. Well, glad you found the Fish, They have been here for years!!!. Best one I have caught was over 16 lbs. So, I guess you will be sharing that hole with other. Sometimes it is better to have fun Catching Fish than bragging about them.

Ashleycooper, he posted that spot and took the time to edit pics because he didn’t want to give out his spot and other people’s hole as well, on a public forum for hundreds too see. Actually if you think it about its pretty darn smart. You’ve got to be kidding me, by commenting and saying his spot when obviously he didn’t wanna post it( which was a good idea). So now next time your striper fishin up there, and its a freakin parkin lot its completely your fault. So I hope you do go on this site posting about your exact location and ruining other peoples places they’ve been fishing for over 30 years. That was a pretty stupid intial comment… next time just think about it. Oh and by the way are you willing to give out the best rig, and bait and which spot to toss it up by the gardens? Because that’s dumb. Just think about giving yours and others fishing places away next time…

Yakman, I couldn’t agree more. It took RM and his father a good bit to find that spot and they worked hard for it. You may of been fishing it for 30 years but that doesn’t matter. It doesn’t make it your spot more than anybody else. With that said it didn’t give you the right to single it out especially on his post. When you catch some big stripers there be sure to make a post with many pictures and the exact spot bait, rig’s and setup. That way everybody can fish it and it won’t be such a special spot anymore.
