Fished Sunday am , put in at Paradise on the incoming tide . Ended up with 6 reds all on topwater, largest 31". They would not hit anything else and the plug had to be parallel with the grass and only about a foot and half away or they wouldn’t move. Missed as many as I caught but it made for a fun morning , overcast all morning.
good job thats about as fun as it gets right there

Awesome report…congrats!
Woooweee, a 31"er must have been fun busting that lure on the surface!
Great report 5151.
What topwater plug(s) were you throwing, colors? And what time in the tide were you fishing? Good job on the topwater reds, I’m itching to throw some and hook up with a few!

Hey 5151- think i met you out there sunday as i was heading back towards the landing in the green hobie. Nice job on the topwater. I’ll try to keep it a little closer to the grass next time and see if that helps me out. Appreciate those kind of details- super helpful.
Firefighter, I was throwing a LC gunfish 95 in ghost green tail shrimp, from low tide to an hour before high following the fish up into the grass.
One fish , yes that was me in that lil cove as you passed by, had just caught my first one at that point
Thanks for the information. I’m hoping to get out again this weekend.
