I have a used Penn Battle 3000 that’s showing some wear (not sure of the age but it has the red Penn handle screw cap if that helps). It’s got some paint chipping, some bubbling under the paint in spots, but seems mostly cosmetic.
Anyone have a suggestion on what type of touch up paint I should use?
I had the same problem with a Sargus. I sanded down the effected area to the bare metal, taped off what I didn’t want painted, shot a coat of primer and then a couple of coats of black gloss paint. It has held up better than the original paint.
