I had a tough trip on Sunday. For most of the morning, we had schools of Redfish within casting distance but could not get them to bite. Ended up releasing 7 fish using the Z-Man MinnowZ Bad Shad. My new low for the year. Checked with anglers in other areas and they also reported tough days.
How did everyone else do?
Redfish bite was definitely a little bit tough in the Stono area. We would hook one up and then the entire school would disappear. Fished until 11 and caught 6 reds and 6 trout on Z-Man PaddlerZ and MinnowZ.
Buddy caught 7 Reds and 9 trout.Saw the trout all nice sized. He used the Gulp Chartreuse minnow.
