Okay, I intend to contact the parks department to start working with them to put together a big tourney to coincide with the c/y festival in apr. Unless there are objections coupled with suggestions (and if so a vote) , I will represent us under the name Sandlapper Kayak angling club. I am asking for volunteers to help me with this. Any one available?

I contacted the charleston parks department today and got the ball rolling for this. It turns out that the committee that puts this event on just had their first meeting today too. I’ll keep ya posted.
