Well, the motor knocked off on me yesterday at the jetties. And I couldn’t do anything to make it crank back up. I know what the problem is, but it is really gonna cost me. I had to call Towboat US, and I didn’t listen to Cogshall when he told me to join this spring, so $313 later, I finally got back to the landing. Don’t be like me, join one of these companies if you haven’t already. It will save you money. I’d rather have paid the $150 membership rather than the bill I got at the landing yesterday. I hope this saves someone some money.
$330; you got off easy. Glad you got back in safely with no issues.

Easy?!?!?! That hurt my feelings man. Especially since I had never had any issue with the boat before. I guess if I had been offshore or grounded it would have been a lot worse. Anyways, I figured out that a $10 part cost me $313. Now that’s what sucks. If you have an anti-siphon valve in your fuel tank, just go ahead and change it every so often. It may save you some cash.

No offense, Brother. I wasn’t trying to downplay $313 bucks, which is a lot of fun-money down the drain. Just saying that it could have cost you much, much more. Glad you found the problem.

No worries, man. I am just beating myself up about losing my fun money like that. I have heard it could have been much, much worse from a friend who had to have salvage work done. Whew, talk about a lot of money!!!
