Does Sea Tow or Boat US have a tow svc on lake Murray?
A friend of mine will be fishing Murray, Georgetown, and Edisto Island areas.
He is trying to figure out which service has the best coverage in these areas.

I have Sea Tow and I fish Murray and Edisto so I know coverage is at those two places.(I am sure they cover Georgetown as well). I have had good service from them on Murray and Edisto. It is about 160 a year and well worth it. I broke down at Edisto a few years ago and the guy told me it would have been 1400$ to tow me back had I not had the membership! I think they have a map of coverage on their website. Hope this helps.

Sea Tow covers Georgetown as well.
When I was looking into it, a few years back. Tow boat had coverage by contracting other boats. But Seatow actually had seatow boats in the water. So I have seatow.

I was at the boatshow in Columbia and spoke to towboat and they said they would have 3 boats on Murray starting in March.

You can’t beat Sea Tow! If they don’t have service in an area you need them they will call another service for you and remeberse you. They did it for me no problem.
I know enough people and enough people know me that we don’t need Sea Tow on the lake …
That being said, if any of you guys find yourselves in trouble - my number(s) have been posted openly on this forum - do not hesitate to call if you need help …
