With deepest sympathies and a heavy heart, I regretfully inform you that a long standing member of our website, and a very dear friend of mine, “CharlestonDiving” Rob and his wife Alison are going through some very difficult and trying times. I have been asked to share this message with you and ask for your support and prayers during the most challenging time in this young couples’ lives.
In the words of Rob:
Our world has been turned upside down.
Our 5 week old baby Cameron has been diagnosed with a terminal genetic disorder called SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) With every day he is still with us he will be loved and experience as much about the world as we can show him. Our precious little angel will only know love and happiness every day of his life. Cameron is not in any pain at all. He is smiling and enjoying life as much as any other baby.
Please keep Cameron in your thoughts and prayers. Do not take a single moment for granted with your loved ones, it can change in an instant.
I know that Rob and Alison both would appreciate your support and prayers through what will most likely be the most difficult year of their lives.
