I’m looking to installing some White LED lights on the back bunks of my trailer to illuminate the area behind when backing down the ramp or into the lot at night. Was going to try a set of running lights from autozone. Anyone ever try this?
Also looking for some recommendations for back-up camera which will be mounted on my excursion

Ranger has this on almost all its trailers.
That’s a good idea you have, maybe try one of those tractor lights,it’s brighter and is only 1 light to worry about. As for the camera, autozone and advance has them for like 80.00 but the screen looks to be on the small side, people with ageing eyes might have a problem looking at the screen.
Double D.
Thanks. I was going to hook the lights into the reverse lockout wire on the trailer so they would come on when in reverse. I thought the LED lights would be better because of the low amp draw. Just worried about them being submersed.
The camera will be going in to an in-dash navigation so I just need the camera itself.

Sorry I misunderstood about the light, you may want to check west marine or one of the boat places to find a submersible light with the led.But if the ones at autozone are submersible and cheaper then use them.

Whatever you install, they must be submersible or they will last a very short time. If you can mount them forward on the trailer, facing rearward in a place where they won’t bever be submerged, you can use any automotive light.
Lighting up a boat ramp at night won’t win you any favors with other boaters, you will knock out their night vision. I’ve even heard complaints about headlights.
Think about it.
