Trailer Swap

I currently have a '04/'05 Bass Tracker Pro Team 175 (couple inches over 17ft) that is currently on the gray painted steel trailer (couple inches over 19ft, with a fold away trailer tongue) that came with the purchase of the boat. The boat was recently acquired from my father but I do not want to limit my self just to launching in fresh water and I have heard horror stories about putting it salt water. The trailer was garage kept for all but one year but during that year was covered so it is in great condition. I’m looking to swap for a galvanized trailer around the same size (fold away trailer tongue would be great, but not necessary, that can be installed later). My ideal situation would be to swap and not have to shell out any money, but I know it is very rarely a perfect world. Let me know if anyone is interested or could make something happen?

You could pore 15 it and then spray paint it with galvanizing paint. That’s what I did for one of my old boat trailers and I never had a problem with it. Didn’t cost much but did take some time.
