I know this is in the wrong forum but with the trolling season right around the corner and the proximity to the landing I thought it might be more important!
On Saturday Jan 30 at 6:00am an older red ford ranger cut locks and drove away with a 5x10 trailer and golf cart. Reported to North Charleston Police but did not get any response soooooo on Saturday Feb 6 at 7:30am (yes daylight) the same guy returns cuts two locks drives into a fenced area and steals a 5x8 trailer. The reason I am posting here is because my office is at the entrance to the Leeds Avenue boat landing!! You look at the pictures and watch the videos and you can tell that this is not his first goat roping with trailer theft! If you know who this is or can help me identify I would greatly appreciate it! I’m trying to get videos up on You Tube.
Hide a cell phone in a trailer with a fully charged battery and in energy saving mode and it will last like a week and bait him to steal it. When it is stole trace the location of the phone and not only will you get the trailer but you know his full route and will likely find his stash or one of his stashes or who he is selling it to. That old truck is probably not registered or insured and likely only used when he is “working”, hes probably a professional thief, disgusting and sorry to hear about your loss.

I agree but what I would do when I caught them would put me in jail!
It makes me sick to lose the 1st trailer and golf cart but for these guys to be brazen enough to come back at 7:30am the next Saturday - feel like I’ve been kicked in the gut! If you watch the videos the white guy covers his license tag before he gets close to the building and the black guy is talking to a guy that is positioned at the head of the road.
My concern is when everybody starts fishing and playing over at boat landing these morons will have a field day!

This guy actually returned Saturday night, broke into a fenced lot and stole another trailer from a business behind me. Time to take this guy “offshore” - One Way!

Yesterday at 5:00 pm Tuesday Feb 9 he was spotted at Leeds and Dorchester just a few blocks away!
Items are not visible from the main road, business is on a dead end street! It appears that the guy is a metal scrapper that drives around and when he sees something he wants - just takes it!

A big shout out to North Charleston’s finest! Issued arrest warrants last night and within 2 hours took him into custody! Guy was career criminal and has been in and out of jail for years!! Trailers haven’t been located but at least he is off the streets.
Why can’t we take guys like this out of the Gene pool??
North Charleston wasn’t playing around!
Charged him with Grand Larceny and Personal Property (extended - Something)??
Should be there longer than most of his 2-7 day stays!
