Looking for a replacement trailer tire for my boat. 205 75R 14 load rating c. If anyone has an extra one in good shape lying around they want to get rid of let me know. Figured I’d try and pick one up cheaper before buying a new one. Thanks!
If you are ever in Orangeburg stop by Blackriver marine on 301.Andy usually has some laying around the shop in good shape…its worth a shot and he’s good people.

If you can’t find a tire at Andy’s you can surely make one at Dukes…
Then when you get home you can take a giant Fritz.

Called today and the girl said a tire was $149?? No way that can be right…lol
That’s a new tire/rim price. Call back and ask for Andy. Explain what you’re looking for and I’m sure he’ll do his best to sell you something.

Called then today and they no longer stock trailer tires…
Any thoughts on tire pressure?Info on tire says 50max.Boat is 17 foot cc with a 50 Yamaha 4 stroke.
“trailer” tires are more heavy duty (more ply’s) and thus more expensive. I’ve learned the hard way not to cut corners on a trailer tire. It might look OK but check the date code. Trailer tires don’t get used as much so they usually show a lot less wear but will harden and crack. They also need to be inflated to MAX. pressure. Putting max pressure in an old tire spells disaster. If you’re only going to be using the trailer to get a few miles to the local ramp you might get away with it. But if you’re traveling a distance on major highways. Get new tires.
A tire the size you’re looking for should be around $100 If you have a sing’e axle trailer you might consider getting both tires replaced. That way you’re good to go for the next five years.
