Went outside to wash the boat and noticed my sidewalks were all cracked up… Maybe the weather? They were fine in November and i put some tire protectant on them. Called Gerald and all they have in my size is the 480-12 Carlisle sport trails. Anygood? Anywhere better to go?

If your rims are in good shape, take them to Gerald’s. No need to pay extra for rims if yours are reusable.

Go to www.tirerack.com and use their authorized installer, I think it was tire kingdom on 17. Stay away from Geralds, absolute rude idiots unless you are an attractive female.
Second the comment above about Geradls. They used to be great but now seem to be extremely expensive and non reactive.
Tire Kingdom and there relationship with Tirerack has been great. I stuck with the Marathons and i have not had any issues with them. Also see a lot of trail America.
But very few Carlisles…
Geralds in Summerville is top notch and their pricing on brake services are “nextdoor neighbor driveway-job cheap”. No I don’t work there.
Gerald’s in Summerville is a very good choice. They have done more than one job for me and been quick, reliable, and reasonable. I would definitely use them again.
I’ve always had pretty good service from the Gerald’s on Rivers Ave near Remount Rd. I’ve read that Carlisle tires are pretty good, but I’ve always bought the tires from Northern Tools. If I need to get the tires mounted, I go to Quality Tire in Summerville. Nice guys over there too.
