I know, a tired (pun intended) subject beaten to death and revived again and again. Anyway, I’m getting ready to replace a couple of trailer tires. After pouring over the internet, the consensus seems to be the same, most are Chinese junk and not even Goodyear or Maxxis are US made anymore. That being said, I have found several good reviews of a newer Carlisle tire, the Trail Radial HD. This tire is available in a 6-ply and an 8-ply. My thought is an 8 ply has to be better. Thoughts, input?

definitely go with the 8 ply

i think maxxis has a 10 ply e rated… that would be my choice

Yeah, looking for the best price on a couple now. Hitting the west coast of FL in July so trying to get everything ready.
