Trailering boat to Charleston

Hey guys first I want to thank everyone for this great site. I have learned a lot and it is entertaining.

I live in Greenville and I’m thinking of bringing my Hewes down for the weekend. I haven’t made this trip before. I have a place to stay downtown but no where to store the boat. I was looking at the Isle of Palms Marina as a place to keep it for the weekend. Looking for opinions/thoughts for this plan. I am trying to do some fly fishing and artificial for reds. Would this be a good area to start my search?

Thanks for any help.

If you sign up with mad charleston tonight, you may be able to keep it at rivers edge marina, if you will take a couple of service members out fishing on Saturday. Call Chris Coates at 571-594-7007 to show your appreciation to our armed services. You will get more reward from this than catching a big red yourself!

Thanks for the responses. I don’t think it would be a good idea for me to take others out on my boat seeing as I have never been to the area. If it was to fish Lake Hartwell I would be all for it.
