Not sure exactly where to mount it, but I’d do some research on Galvanic Corrosion with stainless steel and bronze to aluminum. May not have a problem though.
look at TH Marine Transducer mounting kit (google it).
Glue a block of Starboard to the transom mount the transducer to the block via the transducer mount. No screws into the hull to worry about leaks or corrosion. If I had to do it again, I would.
Google the transducer shield for a kick up bracket to protect that expensive transducer from hitting submerged objects.
With the new sonars, sideview/downscan CHIRP’s it is very important to mount it right. Traditional mounting is out the window with the new large transducers. READ the transducer mounting instructions. Prop wash & bubbles GREATLY affect the new transducers. Some are even saying to mount the leading edge below the transom & with a forward downward tilt.

I would mount a block of starboard to the transom, but I would definitely through bolt it and use silicone and a rubber or plastic backing washer between the aluminum and bolts head/washers.
You definitely should mount a piece of starboard. Its sold in black color as well as. Also while you are at it make the starboard no less than 14" long. This will allow for the installation of the sidescan and transducer for Lowrance which has a minimum distance requirement of 12". Even if you have another type of depth finder it would be worth having the extra length.
