I have a Garmin fishfinder 160c and considering getting a garmin 441s chartplotter. Does anyone know if the existing transducer will work on the 441s or will I have to install a new transducer? Just curious, thanks and have a good one.

Keep the 160c on the boat and add the 441s. You can never have too many fishing tools!!!

Thought about that as well! Thought about getting the 421s because I believe it doesn’t have a transducer, and is just a charplotter.

My electronics are seperate. If I lose a unit then it’s just that one and not a combo setup. Just my preference. Good Luck with it.
