My depth finder went crazy and said the transducer was unplugged. It came back on after a while, and then went out again, repeat *$&%^ times…
Cant say I have ever had one go “bad”, should I be looking at connections, broken wire, new depth finders?
check for corrosion where it plugs in to the unit?
Yep, looks pretty good. I plan to make a little brush to clean and coat each of of the pin outs.
Pinched transducer wire somewhere?

Also check for corrosion at the battery terminals/connections and or a weak battery. Especially if this is happening when you start or stop anything else hooked to the same battery, such as the trolling motor.
